FAQs

Frequently asked questions.

What are the Human Finance Awards?

The Human Finance Awards recognize financial products that make consequential moments in people's lives clearer, safer, and more manageable. The program celebrates work that demonstrates real usefulness, credible evidence, strong user protection, dependable execution, access, and durable value.

How are the winners selected?

An independent panel of judges with extensive experience in banking and financial technology reviews each nomination using only the information submitted. Claims and results must be supported by factual evidence. The panel applies the same criteria to every entry, and an award is given only when the work meets the required standard.

Who are the judges?

The judges are independent professionals with extensive experience in banking and financial technology. Their identities are kept confidential to limit the possibility of outside influence. Judges do not score an entry when a conflict of interest exists. HFA may withhold an award if the panel concludes that no entry in a category meets the required standard.

Does it cost anything to enter or win?

No. There is no fee to apply or submit a nomination. Winners do not pay to receive their award or to use the recognition in their marketing.
